The deadly lie that started this web site was the one George W. Bush uttered in 2003, when he stated that God had told him to invade Iraq. Now, after the obvious failure of this unfortunate debacle, it is clear to everyone that God had nothing to do with it. The statement was false. This leaves two possibilities: Either Bush actually believed God was telling him to invade - in which case he is delusional - or else Bush knew he was lying which makes him a phony Christian who cannot really believe in God at all. Either way, it was a lie, and there are many dead and maimed people who have suffered the consequences of this tragic lie.
